\nIrish immigration to Brittany is a significant historical event that has nevertheless been forgotten. Tens of thousands of Irish people emigrated to Brittany during the 17th and 18th centuries, fleeing persecution by the English. For V\u00e9ronique Bourjot and Brewen Favreau, this past naturally resonated with them, given their musical backgrounds rooted in these two aesthetics. This led them to propose a reinterpretation of these events, with music and the commonalities between these two styles of music as the guiding thread.
